Deborah Kimmey, Literature, University of Washington: This presentation asks students to locate a cultural item or artifact that productively engages with a particular keyword essay and the assigned course texts. Students prepare 8-10-minute presentations that share this cultural artifact with the class and then articulate how it extends their understanding of the keyword under discussion.
